Pinwheels and Place Settings

This weekend is the BIG summer kick-off. July 4th is one of the best holidays EVER!

We all love Red, White and Blue and all that the 4th of July represents and it's so much fun to make crafts to celebrate this holiday.

At camp this week we made pinwheels and the older groups took them over the top. They just loved cutting and folding the paper and started making different sizes.

The 10 and over groups decided the pinwheel shapes alone would make fun place settings. I took some of them home with me so I could photograph them for you. (It's a little hectic while we are in the "creative" mode so I really don't have the opportunity to take photos.)

The younger kids had fun just coloring the paper and running around making the pinwheels spin. They were fascinated that they actually were spinning in the breeze.

I will be adding the template and instructions on kidswonderart.com later today.

Happy and Safe 4th of July!
