Edible Snowman Craft and Happy Holidays!

It's been really hectic preparing for the holidays but I wanted to post this one last edible craft we did.

This craft is fun if you are having lots of kids over for the holidays. You can lay out the supplies and they will have a blast making snowmen.

Or if you are having nasty weather in your area this edible snowman craft will certainly make everyone smile while the weather outside is frightful.

For the edible snowman you will need the following items:
  • large marshmallows
  • graham crackers
  • candy canes
  • M&M's, Reese's pieces candies, and/or chocolate chips
  • Reese's peanut butter cup for hat
  • vanilla frosting or royal icing for the glue
  • skinny pretzel sticks for arms
  • shredded coconut for snow
It's easy to assemble you just need a little patience to wait for the frosting or royal icing to harden a little (3-5 minutes) to hold everything in place.
  • We used graham crackers as the sled and the candy canes for the ice blades on the sled.
  • Decorate the snowman using the M&M's and other candies you choose.
  • Glue two marshmallows together and then glue them on to the graham crackers.
  • Spread more icing on the plate and 'sled' and sprinkle on the shredded coconut. Our snowman has 'snow' melting all over.
We had lots of fun and the kids really enjoyed eating the candy while they were decorating.

Happy Holidays!
