This project was done all by himself. Yes, that would be Christopher (the craftmaster) who has a mind of his own at 8 years old.
I was cleaning out the linen closet and throwing out old sheets and saving some for my craft projects. Well Christopher decided he was going to make a bed for his bunny when he saw the cute snowman sheet I put aside. I wanted to help him but he had his own vision of how he wanted to make it.
He took the fabric and cut a bunch of large pieces, and then would ask me if I think it's good. Well I tell him my thoughts as usual, and he just kept going on. He then proceeded to go into my office to find the polyfill and started to put it on top of the strips he cut. I just need to remind you that nothing with Chris is cut and dry.
So, I ask him how is he going to close it up and that's when he says. "You are mom, I can do a lot of things but sewing I can't." Really!!!!! I began to stitch it for him and I was not doing it the way he wanted. "Look, mom this is how I want it done" and he continued to show me what he wanted me to do.
Ok and now you see the finished project. Something very easy and simple turned into an 8 year old telling me to sew it this way.
Never a dull moment here.
That was a great effort from an 8 year old. I found you at WBC, and I am now following you. I'd be glad if you return the favor at http://beauty-hive.blogspot.com
